Aviva Labiaplasty

Aviva Labiaplasty

Genetics, aging, and childbirth are all factors that can contribute to the changes in a woman’s body. A large or irregular labia can cause discomfort and embarrassment, leading many women to seek treatment options.

There are two main reasons that women explore labiaplasty: discomfort or aesthetics.

You may feel pain or irritation when exercising, wearing tight clothing, or even having sexual intercourse. You may feel restricted by the clothes you can wear or notice decreased sensation during intimacy.

Another reason for considering labiaplasty is dissatisfaction with the look of your labia. Women who are unhappy or self-conscious about the appearance of their genital area can make a change with AVIVA FemTite™, a form of nonsurgical labiaplasty now offered inside our Ogden Utah OB/GYN office. If you struggle with vaginal laxity or loose skin, call our clinic to schedule a private consultation and learn more about non-surgical labiaplasty.

More About Nonsurgical Labiaplasty in Utah

While traditional labiaplasty surgery requires cutting tissue, sutures, and time spent in recovery, AVIVA FemTite™ is a treatment to consider because it is minimally invasive, nonsurgical, and only uses local anesthetic. These factors give women peace of mind by dramatically decreasing recovery time.

How AVIVA FemTite™ Works

To begin the treatment, Dr. Bradshaw-Whitear uses a handheld device to emit radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to target tissue. Using radiofrequency waves and very small incisions, the device reduces unwanted loose or bulky tissue and tighten the skin without the need to surgically cut it away.

Recovery After Nonsurgical Labiaplasty

AVIVA is an outpatient procedure, so you can return home afterward and resume your daily activities. To help you feel relaxed and comfortable, we will use a local anesthetic before beginning the treatment. Best of all, most women only need one treatment to achieve optimal results.

Unlike surgical labiaplasty, there’s no need to worry about a lengthy recovery schedule or lingering pain. However, even though this is a noninvasive procedure, Dr. Bradshaw-Whitear will still give you a set of instructions to ensure that you heal properly, so be sure to follow them closely.
